Recipe Tuesday-Sausage and Onions



A little variation on the original sausage & peppers, I found this wonderful chicken sausage and my family has fallen in love with it.  I love to serve it with a simple white rice, YUM!



First I start out with slicing 2-4 sweet onions, depending on their size, and saute over medium heat with 2 T olive oil and 2 T butter until translucent.



Then add the sausage.  I have small children so I cut the sausage, first lengthwise then across.

Once the sausage is warmed through, dinner is ready!  Enjoy!

  1. We love sausage and onions and peppers. I have never, ever tried chicken sausage! I'm sure hubby would enjoy!
